Nervous System Reboot

Recognize this guy?  Stress...he seems to be everywhere!

Find out what he's doing to our nervous system and what we can do to reclaim our health.

Stress affects all of us—but not in the same way.

It can show up as physical tension, mental fog, difficulty sleeping, emotional overwhelm, irritability, anxiety, or feeling disconnected from yourself and others.

At the core of stress is the nervous system. When it stays stuck in patterns of protection and survival, we may feel constantly “on edge,” exhausted, overwhelmed, or shut down. When we learn to work with the nervous system instead of against it, it can become a powerful friend and ally.

The Nervous System Reboot Program combines nervous system education, somatic exercises, and, when appropriate, Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises (TRE) to help build awareness, restore balance, and support everyday regulation.

Together, these approaches help you better understand your body’s stress responses while providing practical tools to release tension, increase resilience, and return to a greater sense of balance and wellbeing.

Nervous System Reboot Intro

New to this work?

The Nervous System Reboot Intro class is the recommended starting point for those interested in joining ongoing Nervous System Reboot classes.

In this introductory class, you’ll learn:

  • How stress affects the nervous system and body

  • Why tension can accumulate over time

  • The role of somatic exercises in regulation

  • An introduction to the body’s natural tremor mechanism

  • How the Nervous System Reboot program works

  • Safety considerations and participation guidelines

This introductory class helps you better understand the process while giving us an opportunity to determine whether ongoing group classes are appropriate for your needs.

Nervous System Reboot Classes

Nervous System Reboot classes provide an opportunity to continue building nervous system awareness and regulation through guided somatic practices and, when appropriate, work with the body’s natural tremor response.

Classes are offered in both standard and gentle formats.

Both classes follow the same principles and process. Gentle classes simply move at a slower pace and provide additional time for settling, awareness, and support.

Over time, these classes can become part of an ongoing self-care practice—helping you release daily stress, process accumulated tension, and build greater capacity for life’s challenges.

Participation in Nervous System Reboot classes requires either attendance at a Nervous System Reboot Intro class or a prior individual session.

Individual Sessions

Individual sessions offer a personalized approach tailored to your specific needs, goals, and nervous system patterns.

Private sessions may be helpful if you:

  • Prefer one-on-one support

  • Have questions about whether this work is right for you

  • Want a personalized introduction before joining a class

  • Would benefit from additional guidance and pacing

Individual sessions also provide an opportunity to determine whether ongoing Nervous System Reboot classes are an appropriate fit while offering personalized support and guidance based on your specific needs.

The Tremor Response

The tremor response is a natural, inborn mechanism in the body.
It may show up as gentle shaking or pulsing in the muscles as the body begins to come out of stress.

This isn’t something you learn—it’s something your body already knows how to do.

When you experience stress, your body prepares to protect you:

  • muscles tighten

  • your nervous system becomes alert

  • energy builds for action

If that energy isn’t released, it can remain stored in the body.

The tremor response is one way the body releases that tension—

discharging excess stress energy and supporting a return to balance.
